Fun at the Park (by Luna)

Oooh another post by me!! Kaya is being nice to me this week!

This afternoon we went for a walk down the road to our local park. There’s lots of open space where we can run run RUN as much as we like! Usually Mum walks along one side and Dad walks along the other, and me and Kaya have races between them! She usually wins…

But I am getting faster all the time!

Sometimes we can’t decide which way to go…

When we’re running we just let it all hang out – tongues, lips, ears – Mum gets some pretty funny photos! Hehe Kaya looks so silly here…

Ok, ok, I’ll admit I look a bit weird too!

There’s HEAPS of good smells in the park, especially after it’s been raining. We stop and check them out for a break from the running…

YIKES! Here comes Kaya! Looks like we’re running again!

Oh no, she’s beating me!

Back the other way – now I’m beating her!

When we’re not running or sniffing, I have a little thing I like to do called ‘doggy dancin’…

I basically just throw my legs around in every direction, prance around and jump sideways a lot, it might not look very co-ordinated to you but I know the latest doggy dance steps. Other dogs recognise my moves! Even if the humans think I’m acting like fool.

I tried to teach Dad but I don’t think he gets it…

Oh well. Back to racing Kaya again – look, we’re neck and neck!

Did someone say something about sneaky tactics? It wasn’t me, Kaya started it!

Once we’d had enough running it was time to go home. Mum sneaked off and hid behind the toilet block! But we knew she was there and spotted her straight away!

Running at the park with Kaya is so fun. One day I am going to get big enough and fast enough to beat her! Just you wait Kaya…
