The Adventures of Miss Luna

When Dad gets home from work, it’s usually playtime! We play with our squeaky toys and run around and sometimes do tricks training and we generally just have a good time.

Today it was kinda hot so when Dad got home, he took off his work shirt, then decided to see if it fit me! I was so honoured! I got to pretend that I was Dad’s work off-sider!

The shirt even fit me pretty well (actually it was a little bit tight but don’t tell Dad).

I love my Dad, I wish I could go with him to work everyday (Kaya could stay home with her squeakies hehe). Since he cruises around all day fixing people’s big TV’s though, it would be hard, cos I don’t think some people would like me visiting them too.

We practiced what we’d do when people opened the door… but I got a bit excited and almost licked Dad to death, whoops!

Then I just did some more modelling with our new CUZ toy (thanks Ahliah, we love our CUZ!).

While Kaya obsessed over the fridge, yet again (personally, I think she’s going a little bit nuts but shh)…

Us puppies love breakfast time. Usually it’s chicken – lots of yummy pieces of chicken! Other times it’s chunks of lamb, sometimes it’s turkey necks (they are huge!) and sometimes it’s roo. We like all that stuff but chicken is our favourite!

Only problem with breakfast time is that Luna is a big pig and always finishes first. Then she comes and stands and watches me finish eating! Just stands there and looks at me! It freaks me out a little bit.

Anyways this is what happens during a typical breakfast session…

Luna: "Munch, munch… mmm chicken.. oops, tongue.. ouch… mmmm chiiiickeennn…."

Luna: "Hmmm almost finished… wonder how Kaya’s going…"

Kaya: "Munch, munch, mmmhm oh this chicken is faaabulous…"

Kaya: "Mum, I hope you’re getting this. This is how much I love my chicken… it’s so good, I have to stand like a tripod otherwise I might fall over from sheer ecstasy…"

Kaya: "Oh, shit. Luna has finished. She’s watching me. She’s gonna come over here really soon and annoy me! I better hurry!"

Luna: "Hmmm… looks like she’s not finished yet.. might just wander on over there and take a look…"

Luna: "Mmm, she has some left, excellent… sluurrpp…"

Luna: "Maybe if I just stand here and look hopeful, she might leave some for me?"

Luna: "Awww Muuummm, I’m not hassling her, honest! I’m just standing here!"

Mum: "Well Luna, if you are just standing here and not hassling Kaya, at least stand there nicely so I can get a good shot of you…"

Luna: "Awww ok Mum, just for you…"

This is what me and Luna do a LOT…

Mum and Dad get told so often that they should ‘put a saddle on that thing’, that they finally caved in to the public pressure and did it.

I think Luna rather liked it actually!

Personally, I think she’s a bit disturbed.

No way I was hanging around for any saddle photos! I was outa there!
