Very early in the morning, Mum and Dad went for a drive – but he forgot to bring back Mum! She was gone for two whole days and a night. We were a bit puzzled and worried – where did she go? Would she ever come back? But, we knew she’d done stuff like this before and she’d always come back home again, eventually. Anyway, when she finally got back she explained to us where she had been!
She went on a ride in a big thing called an airplane (kind of like a big flying bird with an engine) to a far-off place called Melbourne. While she was there she stayed with a lovely family a bit like ours – but they had one Great Dane and a spotty dog (called a Dalmatian) instead of two Great Danes. She reckons they loved their dogs about as much as Mum and Dad love us! Whoah!
Anyway here is Ahliah (she’s the Great Dane) and Vanilla (the spotty one)…
Ahliah has a CUZ just like we do! In face it was Ahliah’s Dad who told Mum to get one for us!
Anyway, the real reason Mum went to Melbourne was to take photos at a BIG Great Dane show which was being held there. There was actually two shows, one after the other! She was shooting for hours and hours. There were lots of lovely Great Danes there, and she even saw another one of Luna’s sisters! Isn’t she pretty?
There were heaps of people there showing off their gorgeous doggies – I wish I could have gone there to have a perv – so many nice boy doggies!

We’re glad Mum had such a good time (and thanks to Vanilla and Ahliah for looking after her for us) but we are so glad that she’s back. I’ll leave you with a pic of our Mum with her hosts!
