Finally I get to do another post of my own! Kaya is SUCH a post-hog. Even after you guys said you wanted to see more posts by me, she still keeps taking over the blog all the time. Oh well, I guess it was hers first, and she does usually have a lot more to say than I do.
We all know I'm not a very good model, I just can't seem to strike poses and look pretty all the time the way Kaya does. She doesn't let me forget it either. I think even Mum gets a bit disappointed with me, she says I am so pretty in real life but I just can't get it right for the camera.
So I decided to try really hard and follow Mum's direction at the park today to finally try and get it right!
Mum: "Ok now Luna, just sit there and look off into the distance, try and look like you are thinking about something (as opposed to nothing much, which is what I usually think about)"
Mum: "Ok Luna, not bad, now just try and look a bit more, um, alert…"
Mum: "Great! Much better. Now can you please do something about that tongue of yours. If you have to hang it out, hang it out the front, it looks ridiculous hanging out the side like that."
Luna: "Aww but Muuuum, I like my tongue hanging out the side! It makes me look rakish. Maybe if I just tone down the alertness slightly it will help?"
Mum: "Luna no, seriously, you need to do something about your tongue.. it just… KAYA WHAT ARE YOU DOING! GET OUT THE WAY NOW!"
Luna: "Oh WHAT, does she always have to step in and mess things up, no fair!
Kaya: "I just thought I would step in and off my expert opinion – oh and my beautiful long supermodel legs as a frame. What? You don't like it?"
Mum: "Kaya we're trying to do some serious practice here, can you get out of the way please? It's not always all about you, you know"
Luna: "Kaya!!! I was getting better too!"
Kaya: "But look! My legs! The framing! So artistic!"
Luna: "Mum, I don't think she's going to move."
Kaya: "Correct. How about a nice one of both of us now, hey?"
Mum: "Oh. Actually Kaya, I think you might have something there. Good work girls! We'll try again later Luna."
