Road Testing

One of my Mum’s friends has two Great Danes – a harlequin boy called Dante and a black girl called Leila. Dante just loves to play tug games, so she’s decided to start making them herself. To make sure the toys she was making were strong enough, she sent out some special toy samples to all her friends doggies, and lucky me scored two of these new tug toys to test and play with!

I actually much prefer just trotting around with it in my mouth and having people chase me. Mum pretended to chase me but kept stopping to take photos.

I don’t think she quite understood the concept of my game. But being the good doggy I am and following in my older sisters pawprints, I thought I better oblige and be a willing model, at least for a little while.

Just as long as we got to play afterwards! Mum insisted we get some photos of us using the tug toys for what it was intended. I nearly pulled her over, it was great!!

This is actually pretty fun!

Meanwhile, big news! It’s my second birthday on Saturday! This time Mum isn’t away so we will get to do something fun like maybe go to the beach. That’s what I’ve been hinting at anyway. Some pancakes would be good too, Mum! Hint hint! Maybe a special pleading look will do the trick…
