When we’ve finished running around at the park, we always head over to our tap for a drink. It’s perfect for us, Great Dane size!
I just wish we could turn it on ourselves, instead we have to wait for Mum or Dad to work it. We like to make a big mess but at least it washes all the slobber off our chops!
I especially like to make a point of drooling water all over Luna’s head. She loves it, honest!
Mum made us our very own special pikelets today! I don’t really understand why they are different shapes, but apparently the shapes spell out our names. I am just going to have to take Mum’s word for that, because I can’t read.
Anyway, we had to work for them, but they were really yummy, thanks Mum!
(Mum even set them up on our paws, how cheeky! Lucky we are good doggies)
- Those look yummy. I can't believe you let those sit on your paws AND hold still to take a picture!
- How did you get them to stay on your paws without falling off? Coz you know if they fall off you have to eat them right then! Charlie
- Good god, that takes discipline! o.o You definitely take the alpha dog position in the house if you can get two huge danes to sit so still. *applause*
- I have to admit that I have become a bit obsessed with your blog. I found you through the daily puppy and now can't imagine going a day without a picture of Kaya and Luna. They're gorgeous and your photos are amazing. I actually wondered if people would find it weird if I were to frame a picture of someone else's dog. :) Keep up the photos and stories. They're great!
Mum and Dad drink a lot of these drinks that come in a green can. They buy them in big slabs and drink one or two per day! I think they are addicted.
Sometimes they let us have them to play with after they’ve finished. We like to grab them and run around with them for a bit then leave them lying around for Mum and Dad to pick up!
Anyway here’s us trying to grab a can off Mum while she was taking photos:

Today a big box came in the mail. Mum was really excited cos she knew what it was! She entered one of her photos in a competition in a magazine a while back won a prize for us!
Mum let us play with the box first. We love boxes!
We ripped it into little bits and played tug-o-war, our favourite box game.
Then it was time to go inside and look at what we won!
WOW check it out! All kinds of yummy treats just for us!
Mum made us lie down and pose with our prize, but Luna didn’t want to lie down properly so she looks a bit weird. I was ashamed of her poor lying down effort so I tried to hide…
Mum moved us around a bit – much better! Oh and we got to sample the treats after this. They were so yum! Thanks for winning Mum!
